Bob Marley’s 65th Birthday – Tonight’s Mr. Musichead Gallery to Benefit Haiti
Bob Marley, the quintessential music icon, will benefit earthquake relief in Haiti from beyond the grave. The event will be held tonight Saturday February 6, 2010 from 7pm to 10pm. The event is called Jammin and Wallin, which is a celebration of Bob Marley’s 65th birthday.
Mr. Musichead is a gallery “Where Music Meets Art”. The Mr. Musichead Museum has a great collection of music-related art by and about the world’s greatest musicians. Mr. Musichead gallery is expecting some members of Bob Marley’s family to attend the event.
Mr. Musichead gallery will sell artwork and photography about reggae and special Marley coffee. Marley Coffee according to the corporate website “is an international gourmet coffee company with offices in Vancouver, Los Angeles and Jamaica. The Marley Coffee 52 Acre Private Estate sits atop the Blue Mountains in Chepstowe, Portland Jamaica, long revered as the region with the world’s most desirable coffee beans.”
The company was founded by Bob Marley’s son Rohan. All proceeds from the Bob Marley Jammin and Wallin event will benefit Doctors Without Borders’ efforts in Haiti.
