Superbowl: Auteur-style
As we’ve said before, we don’t much care for the Superbowl. We should, I’m sure. Hell, I’ve tried. But alas, no.
However, here is a refreshing take. What if…. We chose classic cinema auteurs to tell the story of the game? Some modern (Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson) A classic (Godard) and the WTF column (Werner Herzog).
The result would be different. The result would be interesting. Special thanks to Jeff Wells and Hollywood Elsewhere for sharing.
